The NSS Unit of Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College (Autonomous), Odalarevu, organized an Awareness Programme on GST and Small Business Tax Education as part of NSS Special Camp Day-3 at the adopted village Komaragiripatnam on 6th November 2025.

The session was conducted by Mr. M. Raja, Assistant Professor, who explained the importance of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and basic tax education for small business owners and self-employed individuals. The programme aimed to spread financial awareness among villagers about tax registration, benefits of GST compliance, and government schemes supporting small-scale entrepreneurs.

NSS volunteers actively participated in door-to-door awareness and interacted with local residents, emphasizing the role of tax discipline in strengthening the nation’s economy
