The Extension Activities Cell of Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College (Autonomous), Odalarevu, successfully organized National Voters’ Day Celebrations on January 24, 2026, with the theme “My India, My Vote.”
The program aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of voting, democratic values, and responsible citizenship. As part of the celebrations, an Essay Writing Competition was conducted for interested students to encourage critical thinking on electoral participation and democracy.
A Voters’ Pledge was administered, where students collectively pledged to uphold the values of the Constitution, participate actively in the democratic process, and exercise their right to vote responsibly.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, reinforcing the message that every vote matters and that informed and responsible voters are the foundation of a strong democracy.
