Dr. B. S. N. Murthy

     Dr. B. S. N. Murthy is an accomplished academician in the field of Computer Science and Engineering with extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. He holds a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, an M.Tech from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, and a B.Tech from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. With a strong academic foundation, he has been actively contributing to higher education by teaching a wide range of subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

His teaching expertise covers core and advanced areas such as Discrete Structures and Graph Theory, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Operating Systems and System Programming, Principles of Programming Languages, Computer Graphics, Advanced Computer Architecture, Neural Networks, Data Warehousing and Data Mining, Information Retrieval Systems, Automata and Compiler Design, UNIX Programming, Biometrics, Object-Oriented Programming through Java, C Programming, Java Programming, Network Programming, Cryptography and Network Security, Mobile Computing, Distributed Systems, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Internet of Things, Information Security, and Cyber Security including Cyber Crimes and Digital Forensics.

Dr. Murthy has made significant contributions to research and academic development, with more than 25 publications in reputed journals and over 50 papers presented at national and international conferences. He has successfully guided around 50 undergraduate and 25 postgraduate projects, demonstrating his commitment to mentoring students and fostering innovation. He has also actively engaged in professional development by attending 45 Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and has organized and conducted several FDPs and workshops.

In addition to his teaching and research roles, Dr. Murthy has played a vital role in academic governance. He has served as a Member of the Board of Studies for external institutions and as a Chairperson of the Board of Studies. He has also organized two international conferences, contributing to the academic and research ecosystem. His areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Cyber Security, Distributed Systems, Internet of Things, Data Mining, Information Security.
