Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College (BVCE), Odalarevu, in collaboration with FEBE, successfully organized Hackathon-2026, a 24-hour national-level hackathon, from 7th February 2026, 9:00 AM to 8th February 2026, 9:00 AM, at the college campus.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 71 teams, comprising 281 students from 14 different engineering colleges, making Hackathon-2026 a vibrant platform for innovation, collaboration, and real-world problem solving.
The primary objective of the hackathon was to encourage students to design and develop technology-driven solutions while promoting creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning beyond the classroom environment.
Throughout the 24-hour continuous coding and ideation session, participants worked with great dedication under the guidance of mentors and faculty members. To maintain energy and engagement during the overnight hours, a camp fire and informal interaction session was organized, fostering team bonding, relaxation, and a lively collaborative atmosphere among participants.

The team developed a self-paced Learning Management System (LMS) using Next.js and NextAuth, featuring real-time course management, progress tracking, and dynamic enrollment. The solution integrates AI-powered personalized learning, enabling students to learn independently while helping educators deliver structured, industry-focused content through a secure and responsive platform.

Idea Description:
CampusQuiet is a smart classroom automation system that uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to automatically switch mobile phones to silent mode in designated zones. The solution avoids GPS, internet usage, and illegal signal jammers, and can be extended to automate attendance and generate institutional reports, making it a scalable and legally compliant smart campus solution.

Idea Description:
SafeWalk is a proactive personal safety application that automatically detects danger using smartphone sensors. It triggers instant SOS alerts with live location, even without internet connectivity, eliminating the need for panic buttons and ensuring timely assistance during emergency situations.
