The IEEE Student Branch (STB13691) of Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College (BVCEC), Odalarevu, actively participated in IEEE Xtreme 19.0, a prestigious 24-hour global coding hackathon organized by IEEE.
The event commenced on 25th October 2025 at 5:30 AM in the EEE Department E-Classroom. Students from various branches enthusiastically took part in this international programming challenge, showcasing their technical expertise, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving skills.
The competition was organized under the guidance of Dr. S. Srikanth, IEEE Student Branch Counsellor & Head of the EEE Department, and Ch. V. S. J. Swatesh, IEEE Student Branch Chair. K. Sri Anjanee served as the IEEE Xtreme Ambassador for this edition.
The event was graced by Dr. Bonam Kanaka Durga, Chairperson, Dr. Maheswar D, Principal, Dr. A. Pravin, Vice Principal, Dr. T. Saran Kumar, Head of the ECE Department, along with Heads of various Departments and the Administrative Officer. Their presence and encouragement greatly motivated the participants.
The IEEE BVCEC Student Branch continues to motivate students to participate in global technical competitions like IEEE Xtreme, nurturing a culture of collaboration, coding proficiency, and innovation among aspiring engineers.
