(A) PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs):

PEO 1: BVC Graduates shall have strong foundation in basic sciences, mathematics, engineering fundamentals and computer science & engineering subjects in addition to proficiency in computer programming and use of modern tools and technologies.

PEO 2: BVC Graduates will be successfully engaged in careers in software, hardware and allied fields as eminent engineers and managers.

PEO 3: BVC Graduates will be prepared for continued professional development through postgraduate studies in engineering and allied fields and through life-long learning.

PEO 4: BVC Graduates will demonstrate professional attitude, teamwork, leadership, values, ethics and effective communication skills.

(B) PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs):

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

  1. Engineering Knowledge: Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and specialization to solve complex engineering problems.
  2. Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, and analyze engineering problems using principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  3. Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions and system components considering public health, safety, cultural, societal, and environmental aspects.
  4. Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based methods including experiments, analysis, and synthesis of information to draw valid conclusions.
  5. Modern Tool Usage: Apply modern engineering and IT tools, prediction, and modeling techniques with an understanding of limitations.
  6. Engineer and Society: Apply contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal, and cultural issues with professional responsibility.
  7. Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts and apply principles of sustainable development.
  8. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities.
  9. Individual & Team Work: Function effectively as an individual and as a member/leader in diverse teams and multidisciplinary environments.
  10. Communication: Communicate effectively on engineering activities, write reports, prepare documentation, deliver presentations, and give/receive instructions.
  11. Project Management & Finance: Apply engineering and management principles to manage projects in multidisciplinary environments.
  12. Life-long Learning: Recognize the need and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the context of technological change.

PSO 1: Apply knowledge of Data Science, Big Data, and IoT to design and develop solutions for real-world problems.

PSO 2: Comprehend technological advancements and effectively use open-source modern design tools for analysis and design of subsystems and processes for various applications.
