Prof. Dr. Valluri Dhana Raj is a distinguished academic and administrative leader in the education sector. He is currently employed as a Professor and Controller of Examinations at Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College (A) in Odalarevu. He received a first-class engineering degree from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, in 1991–1995. He received his M.Tech. in Instrumentation and Control Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, and his Doctorate in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. He was Ratified as a Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, and his research interests include Antenna and Wave Propagation, Radar and Microwave Engineering, Cellular and Mobile Communications, Hardware and Software Co-Design, and Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems. He has more than 40 international journal publications and six national and three international conference papers. He has attended more than 50 Faculty Development Programmes/Workshops. He has delivered guest lectures at various peer institutions. He has led over 40 PG-level projects and 45 UG-level projects. The department was accredited by the National Board of Accreditation during his tenure as the department's head. As a convener, he organized a national conference and several workshops.
